Dream Responsibly

Dream Responsibly

To dream responsibly means to dream with wisdom, discernment, and purpose. It is about having a dream that is trustworthy because it originates from God. It is not about conjuring up numerous grand ideas just for the sake of ambition. Many people fail to accomplish anything in life because they are too busy dreaming instead of acting. If they could rid themselves of unrealistic, culture-driven fantasies, they could align themselves with God’s plan and accomplish His will.

Dream in line with God’s specific, detailed plan for your life.

The phrase "dream big" is widely popular, but where do these dreams come from? Are they from God, or are they influenced by cultural expectations? The reality is that not everyone will receive a "big" dream from God, and that is perfectly fine. In fact, what qualifies as "big" is subjective. What truly matters is that the dream comes from God and aligns with your purpose.

When I enter a city to plant a church, my vision is to take dominion by positioning Christians in every sphere of influence. That is dreaming within the boundaries of my assignment. I am not sitting around imagining lofty ideas—I am aligning my vision with the task God has given me.

I do not have ideas; I have Kingdom Assignments!

God calls us to dream responsibly—to focus on THE dream and what it takes to bring it to fruition. "Big dreaming" often leads to irresponsibility because it is influenced more by culture than by divine purpose.

The problem is not with dreaming itself, nor even with dreaming big. The issue is dreaming irresponsibly. Big dreaming generates endless ideas, yet most "lofty dreamers" never accomplish anything. Those who succeed in life are responsible dreamers—those who are doers of the dream. They take action, they remain focused, and they see God’s purpose fulfilled in their lives.
